We are still at the very end of the Sun-Mars conjunction, so I would like to share some short thoughts about the contact of these 2 planets in the birth chart.
Sun often symbolizes the „self”. Mars, among many qualities, represents our competitiveness. That’s why this planet is so important and prominent in the charts of many people who are into all kinds of sports.
For Sun-Mars people it seems to be not enough to compete with others. They also have to compete with themselves.
A good description of Sun-Mars personality is „beating your own record”. Every time they have to be better than the last time. At work, or whatever they do, they are at the sports arena with themself. When this energy is used in a constructive, positive way it can propel personal growth tremendously. When misused it can give constant dissatisfaction with own achievements.
Sun-Mars contact will always push the native to self-improvement. The type of aspect (conjunction, square, position) will tell us, how will the person be integrating this principle. Is it gonna be a challenge, or something very natural?
